One house, the whole process
Elli.aM lives in a three-floor house on Soi 13 in Chiang Mai. The first floor is our collection showroom. The second floor is the atelier, where every piece is cut and sewn by our own team. The third floor is a photo studio, where the pieces you see online are shot. Design, production, photography, fulfilment — one address, one team.
What “atelier-direct” removes from the price
A typical boutique garment passes through a designer brand, an offshore factory, an importer, a distributor, and finally a retail shop — each adding a margin. Rent on a Singapore shopfront alone adds a lot to every dress on the rack. Our pieces skip all of it: fabric comes in, finished garments go out, and the only markup is ours. That's the entire secret. Same or better fabric quality — 100% linen, hemp, organic cotton — without the four middle margins.
Small batches, made to last
Because we sew in-house, we produce in small batches and can see quality at arm's length — literally: the seamstresses and the shop are two floors apart. It also means we can make pieces to order: if your size is out of stock, or you want a sleeve longer, message us and the atelier can usually cut it for you within a week.
